LIQUID CONDUCTIVE PAINT FOR POWDER COATING - 1 Quart
Turning Powder Coating into Liquid for Touchup or Splatter Effect
This product can be mixed with any powder coating paint to make a splatter effect, designs, etc. or can also be used to make touch up paint to be cured. The conductive coating evaporates out when cured and leaves the powder effect in place.
- If using this product to make a splatter effect or to paint on, there are no specific mixing ratios. Simply mix this solution with your powder coating color in a separate container/jar until you get the consistency you are needing for your application. For Touchup paint you want a more liquified solution & if using a paint brush to flick for a splatter effect, you would want a thicker solution. You will need to experiment on sample parts, all powder coating formulations can react slightly different.
Using this Product to Make a Non-conductive Surface Conductive
Provides the electrostatic finishing advantages of wrap-around even paint build, and higher painting efficiencies for non-conductive substrates such as wood, plastic, ceramic, glass, and much more. Forms a thin, clear transparent conductive surface on articles made from non-conductive substrates.
- This product is ready to be used, no mixing required.
- Parts to be pre-treated in this conductive coating are dipped, sprayed, or flow-coated with the solution. *You can use a pump sprayer, mist sprayer, fog sprayer, etc.
- After you apply this conductive liquid coating to your part, you can immediately start to powder coat over. If still wet, this liquid coating will evaporate when the powder coating is cured.
- The part should then follow the recommended cure cycle for that particular powder coating.
