Custom Finishes

"Custom Finishes" may be added to most of our colors upon request, and are already available online for some products, including all of the RAL colors.
• The minimum order quantity for a "Custom Finish" is (1 pound).

• "Custom Finishes" are made to order and some ship the same day if ordered before 1pm EST. Larger orders may take extra time to make and ship, depending on volume and what high speed mixer is needed.

• For specific gloss level ranges, different metallic & pearlescent types, or any other specific custom finish not available as an option online, send an email to  app@allpowderpaints.com detailing what you need.
Available Standard Options - listed online
  • Fine Texture Flat (+7.95 lb.)
Description: A low flat gloss, between 0 - 10% depending on the color shade. Surface finish is a flat "Fine Texture" with a slight grain effect.
  • Fine Texture Matte (+5.95 lb.)
Description: A lower gloss, between 10 - 20% depending on the color shade. Surface finish is a matte "Fine Texture" with a slight grain effect.
  • Light Mini Texture Matte (+4.85 lb.)
Description: A low gloss, between 0 - 20% depending on the color shade. Surface finish is a matte/flat "Mini Texture" with a smoother grain effect and a slightly more spaced out textured pattern compared to a standard "Fine Texture".
  • Anti-Skid Texture Glossy (+5.50 lb.)
Description: A heavy granulated texture for "Anti-Slip" Finishes. The texture is sporadic and not tightly grouped together. This custom finish keeps the initial gloss level of the color around the same.
  • Anti-Skid Texture Matte (+9.45 lb.)
Description: A heavy granulated texture for "Anti-Slip" Finishes. The texture is sporadic and not tightly grouped together. The gloss level is around a 5 - 20% depending on the color shade.
  • River Texture Glossy (+3.95 lb.)
Description: A "River" or "Peel" effect finish that keeps the color a high gloss. This finish is also sometimes referred to as a solid "Hammer-tone" or "Rough Texture".
  • River Texture Matte (+5.25 lb.)
Description: A "River" or "Peel" effect finish that has a lower gloss level. The gloss level is around a 10 - 20% depending on the color shade. This finish is also sometimes referred to as a solid "Hammer-tone" or "Rough Texture".
  • Matte 5 - 20% Gloss Smooth Finish (+3.95 lb.)
Description: A flatter low gloss level, with a 5 - 20% gloss range is considered a "Matte Finish".
  • Satin 40 - 50% Gloss Smooth Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: A medium gloss level, with a 40 - 50% gloss range is considered a "Satin Finish".
  • Semi-Gloss 50 - 70% Smooth Finish (+2.95 lb.)
Description: A gloss level between satin and high gloss, with a 50 - 70% range is considered a "Semi-Gloss Finish".
  • OGF Out Gas Forgiving (+3.95 lb.)
Description: Helps eliminate outgassing which can leave pinholes or imperfections in your finish. Typically needed for cast or porous substrates.
  • Fine Silver Pearlescent Finish/Exterior Grade (+2.95 lb.)
Description: Add a fine Silver "Pearl Finish" to any color. This Fine Silver is a mica pearl with a small micron size. A clear coat is optional, although adding a clear topcoat will make the pearl stand out more and help cosmetically to hide surface scratches.
  • Fine Gold Pearl Metallic Finish (+2.95 lb.)
Description: Add a fine Gold "Pearl Finish" to any color. This Fine Gold is a mica pearl with a small micron size. A clear coat is optional, although adding a clear topcoat will make the pearl stand out more and help cosmetically to hide surface scratches.
  • Heavy Gold Pearl Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium Gold "Pearl Metallic Finish" to any color. The Heavy Gold Pearl is a medium sized gold mica, similar size to a normal sparkle. A clear coat topcoat is recommended when selecting this custom finish to bring out the metallic content.
  • White Sparkle Pearl Finish/Exterior Grade (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium White Silver "Pearl Metallic Finish" to any color. The Heavy White Pearl is a medium sized icy white silver mica, similar size to a normal sparkle & the same size you would see in the color "Icy Black Flash" A clear coat topcoat is recommended when selecting this custom finish.
  • Heavy Shimmer White Pearl Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium to heavy White Silver "Shimmer Pearl Metallic Finish" to any color. The Heavy Shimmer White Pearl is a medium to larger sized icy white silver mica. It's larger in micron size to the standard White Pearl with a shimmer pattern, and the same size you would see in the color "Icy White Shimmer". A clear coat topcoat is recommended when selecting this custom finish.
  • Silver Metallic Finish/Exterior Grade (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium Silver "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this size of Silver Aluminum in a standard silver color. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
  • Fine Silver Aluminum Finish/Exterior Grade (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a fine Silver "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this finer Silver Aluminum in a standard wheel silver color, no sparkle. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
  • Exterior Grade Alu. Fine Bronze Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a fine Bronze "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this finer Bronze Aluminum in a standard bronze color. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
  • Exterior Grade Alu. Medium Gold Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium Gold "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this medium Gold Aluminum in a standard Sun Gold color. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
  • Exterior Grade Alu. Medium Copper Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a medium Copper "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this medium Copper Aluminum in a standard Copper Metallic color. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade, and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
  • Exterior Grade Alu. Heavy Silver Metallic Finish (+3.25 lb.)
Description: Add a heavy Silver "Aluminum Metallic Finish" to any color. You would typically find this Heavy Silver Aluminum in a larger flake silver metallic color, like our Heavy Silver Flake or Solitary Silver, however we only add a small amount when adding to a color or clear coat. Our aluminum pigments are exterior grade and keep the original gloss level. A clear coat is only optional for improved scratch and MAR resistance.
